The place to discuss soccer coaching techniques, theory ('are 4v4 games best for 7 year olds?') and coach/child psychology ('why won't they listen to me!?, etc.)

We use dance music when we go inside during the winter. When the boys are doing skills based training ie fast feet routine and steopovers etc they get into the rythm of the music, it was amazing how they found it harder once the music had gone. They all love to come up with suggestions for the next weeks music. Most of the academies now use music to work on technique, even heading sessions, its great fun to watch as well as for the kids to participate....

I had a look at Zova.com yesterday and was impressed, so I brought the beginners session for my under 6's and U7's.
I think it will be great for a warm up and it is refreshing to bring new ideas to the sessions.
If it doesn't work then it doesn't work but why not have a go.

You can pick up a big old CD ghetto blaster for between £10 and £20.
