Not sure about anyone else, but I actually found that riveting!! :D

Out of pure curiosity (/nosiness  ) did you say anything to him at the time of the verbal barrage, or just let him work himself into a frenzy and then depart?

You did well if you didn't say much back to him at the time, not sure I could keep a lid on it! Nothing annoys me more than people who think a club is 'theirs'. Without the kids and the decent coaches they seem to care little about the club wouldn't last very long.

Plus it angers me when people get involved in something without all the facts, and attack or 'lecture' the more innocent and caring party - or just automatically taking sides with one person over another for no good reason.

I feel your frustraton! lol

Maybe not quite WAAC, but the following is an example I still cant quite believe happened.

U16 game, our opponents had had a player sent off in total I think the equivalent of four times. One for the original kick, one for throwing his short at the ref, one for the barrage of filth levelled at the ref and the fourth for going for one of our subs (who had said nothing, and was just watching dumbfounded as this unfolded in front of him).

Anyway, the portly wee coach - one of these guys with a face of permanent fury and almost bovine stupidity came waddling as fast as he could round the pitch to say that his player had been wound up and the referee was obviously conned etc etc. (Worth mentioning here that this was his players first game back after a three month ban for head-butting). The player was escorted back to his side of the pitch as the changing rooms were still locked. Ten minutes later, the game is finished and we'd lost 3-1.

We're concious that there might be a bit of afters, but most of the players are ok. We held our players back for a post match talk to keep the tension low, but eventually had to wander up to the pavillion. The door is locked, and as the key is found, our boys start to mill about with there players - no hassle. Chubby coach at this point decides that he'll launch into one: i quote: "How come you useful F******* only beat these inbred F****** B****** 3-1. Three F******* one - they're a useless shower of SH***. Players from both teams cant believe this outburst, and before any of us can react, fair play to the ref who was also waiting around. He says "Right you, that is the most disgraceful thing I have ever heard. you will be reported - you are a disgrace to yourself, your club and these players".

Delighted to say he was reported, banned for six months and to the best of my knowledge is not involved anymore. One of the most appalling individual Ive ever met. Don't people like that get exhausted being angry all the time?

Unfortunately not! Perhaps he has rediscovered himself after his ban and is now fronting the F.A's Respect campaign!

"welsh" is indicating it is a response to my question i think moose.

Anyway I think you'll find both Cardiff & Jacscum are in the "top" 26 clubs in the Uk at the mo Moosey - so it would not be too far awar from the truth - bearing in mind how many clubs there are in the UK.

"Top 26" You mean 25th and 26th. Wow! How bad are the others !!!

Only joking!! My team is currently in the top 41!

Ive seen a bit over the years however....this season one of our players has a dad who is a 6ft 5" basketball player and he is a lovely chap but his mere presence has a very calming effect on previously aggressive teams/parents!!.....
