I have kids between the ages 10-12. They have been playing for three years and the still cant do combinations. I've tried different drills and they don't get it. Can anybody suggest anything?

By combinations at U10 & U12, I assume you mean stringing together 3, or 4 passes?

Small sided games is the way to go and not choreographed drills. They need to work it out for themselves. Try a small sided game with limitations.... two touch only, you can't pass fowards (only back), have a target player in the box who can't score, but must receive the ball before the team can score etc. etc.
